Our open translation platform, Transifex has been in production by the Fedora project, a Linux distribution supported by Red Hat, the world's leading open source technology solutions provider.

At Fedora, a community of more than 600 translators collaborate through Transifex to translate software, documentation, web services and static websites with a target audience of more than 5 million users.

Moblin, an Intel initiative, develops and maintains a Linux platform that is optimised for the mobile computing market.

Moblin selected Transifex to aid the operating system’s localisation efforts on a privately hosted instance.

Transifex.net

On May 2009 we launched Transifex.net, a shared instance of Transifex, hosted on our servers aiming to become the central point for open source project localisation efforts.

Transifex.net has already met with success hosting popular projects such as Gnome, PHP, Django, Mercurial and many more.

Xfce is a popular, fast and lightweight free software desktop environment, best known for its aesthetics and capability of running on relatively modest hardware.

The project has chosen Transifex to manage its translation workflow, achieving more than 10 new translations per day in 34 different languages.

The National Technical University of Athens, probably the most prestigious Technical University in Greece, is working closely with Indifex on a number of Django-powered projects, including one with the goal of mining the data from all the weather sensors in Greece.
