A few words about us

Indifex is a startup company developing novel software solutions around highly scalable content distribution technologies.

We are a handful of folks that the bare idea of creating meaning in this world gets us high. We're working on improving how content is managed and distributed on the Web. We're using modern open source technologies on a few cool projects that will turn into useful products and services. We hope they will make a big splash once announced.

Open positions

We're always open for new people to join our team. Here are a few positions we are actively looking people to fill them.

Web application engineer

We're building tools and services which dramatically change the workflow of professionals and enterprises. We're looking for talented coders join the team being in the center of the action. With this role, you'll create the tools used by thousands of users, and you'll be challenged to pump new features out weekly. You'll basically be right at the core of our company and we'll require you to constantly draw your ideas on whiteboards to help us understand how you'd like to amaze our users today.

In this role we're looking for outstanding developers who are talented in writing code that solves interesting problems. You don't need to be an expert in Ruby or Python, however if you are motivated, thrill-seeking and passionate about writing open source code, we'd like you to get in contact with us right away.

Ideal candidates will have experience in agile development techniques and experience with some of Python, PHP, SQL, Java, Ruby on Rails and Javascript. We're also interested in people who'll amaze us with their new ideas and clever solutions.

Systems developer

We're looking for a developer with experience on systems and server-side development and administration. Our software will support quite a lot of users doing complex tasks, on systems potentially hosted around the globe. The servers will support the work of enterprises and professionals, and in this role you'll be the person to build the infrastructure handling these activities, eliminating possible points of failure. This is a highly technical role requiring a top-notch systems manager, who will write quite a lot of Python code himself.

The ideal candidate for us would be one having at least two years of experience in developing and managing similar systems. You should have experience working in the past with highly-paced teams. Team leadership is a plus, since in a few months with us you might want to grow your team with another guru or two.
