About us

Indifex was founded in 2008 with the goal of revolutionalising how content is translated.
We develop technologies to bring content to millions of people more than today.

We are a small team of seasoned, passionate technologists, each with more than 5 years of experience in Information Technology. Our team features a diverse array of skills mainly focused around collaboration and localization technologies, open communities, Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) technologies and modern, agile web development.

How can we help you?

Meet the Team

Dimitris Glezos

After coding Transifex and watch it grow Fedora's Localization activity exponentially, Dimitris has walked away from discussions with world leading companies to found Indifex, with the vision of changing how translations are done in open source and the Web. He has served as a Fedora Board member and Localization lead, and also holds a position on the Board of the Greek Entrepreneurs' NGO hub. In his spare time, when he's not rock climbing, he studies Sociology and Fuzzy Logic.

Andreas Loupasakis

Although he would never admit it bluntly, Andreas is a jack of all trades. He is leading the Solutions Department of Indifex and the engineering of Transifex.net, Indifex's 'Software as a Service' product. When he's not doing user experience development, he'll be talking to a customer on the phone or managing our development team. He's dubbed as the office's "brioche devourer".

Diego Búrigo Zacarão

Diego is Indifex's software translation expert. He is a Computer Science graduate and sports 5 years of experience in software localization, community architecture and IT management. He holds a seat on the Fedora Localization Steering Committee as well as many years of professional experience with web applications modeling and development.

John Beredimas

John's role in Indifex is hard to describe. He's leading business development, he's doing sysadmin and he's talking with investors. Simultaneously. Really. In his free time he'll be all around the road either with his car, his bicycle or his Wii.

Seraphim Mellos

Seraphim's nickname is "monster", more because of his IT capabilities rather than his actual size. He's managing Transifex's systems running on some cloud architecture, making sure our systems are secure and run smoothly. If a member of team challenges you to ask an IT question to Seraphim which he won't know the answer, think twice before accepting. The same for questioning his lead electric guitar skills.

Nikos Korkakakis

Nikos is probably the craziest of the bunch, and his goatee kinda gives him away. He joined the team in 2008 and immediately started hacking on queuing systems and debugging ugly code written 2 years ago. He's our community gardener and lead support engineer, and nosetests Overloard.
